We are looking for a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements/customize to existing Energy\Commodity Trading and Risk Management (E\CTRM) software solutions, with a particular focus on customizations to the core product used by refined products retailers, power and gas utilities, refiners & retailers. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. Previous E\CTRM experience is not essential but this is a great opportunity to learn about E\CTRM industry.  

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Proficient in writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
  • Support test and deployment of new products and features
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Good understanding of design patterns and OOPS concepts
Skills Required
  1. Proficient in .Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server(TSQL), and SSRS
  2. Proficient in writing complex queries, DB views, stored procedures, and functions
  3. Able to understand existing code, bug fixing and prepare root cause analysis documents if required.
  4. Able to analyze existing systems and provide inputs towards areas for modification and improvement.
  5. Understand Data Model Design Principles, including normalization, primary key and foreign key relationships, indexing strategies for performance tuning, and data model constraints.
  6. Required Positive Attitude,Innovative, Good problem solving and analytical skills
  7. Strong interpersonal skills needed to work and communicate with a team
  8. Ability to provide technical solutions and create detailed technical design document for the provided solution
  9. Good understanding of Architecture and components of Client/Server applications
  10. Ensure adherence to agile development/methodology
  11. Excellent communication skills required(English)
  12. Provide Mentorship to Junior Developers
  13. Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
  14. Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  15. Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in software design and development
